Bro, side track a bit. You are from the west district. So you know Meng Kiang? He used to be the Assistant Workshop Manager at SL Depot. He is my ex colleagueOriginally posted by MS:tonight 9pm I will commence the shifting of the route group technicians. By 3am all must be over at the temp int. Only minor adjustments must be left. I will stay there till 6am with the next shift mechanic to ensure that the new place runs smoothly.
(1) BC knows where to go when they need help
(2) Tehnicians know where to go when BC needs help
On the 19 June, the contractors will commence the demolishing of the old interchange.

A kind reminder to those who are going to Boon Lay Temp Int to take svc guides, please do not take stacks of them* cos those residents living in Boon Lay & Jurong West Extension need those svc guides more than you...
* See some members here taking stacks of guides from old Boon Lay Int bef...
bro..wow 5 am to spot you....though I live right opp the temp interchange but still having sweet dreams at that hour. cheersOriginally posted by MS:yeah I know TMK. He's very 'famous'. haha...
The interchange is ready for use tomorrow already. My technicians' stuffs are up and ready to go. Just went down with my guys to shift everything. Tomorrow you can spot me in BL Int at 5am to ensure everything is in order. I don't want any BC or passengers to be affected due to technicians problems.

LOL... Now I know why...Originally posted by stooper:The people are damn fast.
The 179 plate for the short queue on Weekday mornings was already gone today.
The plate was put up 1 or 2 days before 18 Jun...Originally posted by stooper:LOL... Now I know why...
They took down the plate, sliced it up, mounted in onto 2 vertical metal rods, and hung it over the 405 plate!![]()
And this afternoon, it was gone...Originally posted by brotherchen1982:The plate was put up 1 or 2 days before 18 Jun...![]()
You saw the queue lines on the floor? Its their own fault for not following it.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:1st: The rail for the bus services were too short. (Svc like 30, 174 ,242 , etc.) always had long queue. In the night, the 242 queue even extended all the way to the MRT exit.
There is no change in the frequency.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:2nd: Passengers need to wait longer for bus service. (The queue could prove it in the night)
1. This is to prevent too many buses from using the short right turning lane at Jurong West St 64 & causing a jam. Currently services using it are 30, 79, 154, 182, 194, 240, 246, 249, 251, 252, 254.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:3rd: Bus services like (157,174,199,242) had to make a big round when they were returning to the bus Int. This cause the journey to be longer as they were need to pass throught more traffic light. They should ply as the same road as (30, 240 ,etc) when returning back to Int. This would let them to shorter the journey and passing less traffic light.
i agree with you for the first time ! . The interchange looks so cheapskate with short rails unlike the old interchange . the marking on the floor > not many people realise/ notice and even FOLLOW IT ! . what's SBST problem in extending the rail like the old int . look at the 179 berth so small and long queues.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:Passengers complained that the temp boon lay int had much disadvantages.

As this temp Int need to be use for 3 years. So, problems should be solved and not saying it was just a temp int as an excuse.
