I doubt so? Rego fall off like that very the facepalmz...

We bus fans are trying to be optimistic . But if it's an existing bus, the maintenance is too good to be true for a local PTO. It looks totally new
Originally posted by SMB92U:hmmm maybe a rare case that someone forgot to put up the rego back? quite shocking to see that bus with no rego imo. someone infront me even said 'eh..? why that bus no license plate one?' to his friend beside him.
Quite true, especially without the existence of the trade plate. It looks too new to be an existing bus, seriously. Even refurbished buses don't have brand new looking exteriors. The only way the see if it's a brand new bus is to see if the PIS is fitted.

agreed. but thats how KJDEP manages their OC refurbished until so new, then few weeks later back to its original dirty state. take SMB88H for an instance; got its rims repainted and refurbished twice already and currently the bus as a whole is not 'shiny-looking' anymore.
Press the "Bus stopping" bell on SBS640D(HGDEP SP) and it will ring for about 6-7 times before stopping for a while and will repeat the process again for another time before stopping.
SBS2796A(BBDEP 96) still has the purple "Give way to buses sticker" while SBS8321Y(BNDEP 18) has got it removed about a week before

slbp slow to program EDS.

u know why DD is deployed instead of SD? Do you know which one the demand is higher?
SBS8934D (SLBP 240) has weird engine sound.
TIB788T (AMDEP 106) has problematic exit doors which cannot close properly.

SMB88H already had some letters of the Emergency Exit removed.

oh? i never take this bus for long time liao.
i feel that sv 52 should be made AM/SL controlled instead of solo SL. my reason for this is because of first few buses issues. if i'm not wrong, bus departing from 0545 - 0655 at bishan int are all off svc from slbp and start their first trip at bishan.
this few days i observed that the trip departing at 0641 & 0655 from T1 failed to meet the schedule timings along the way. i have no idea what is the traffic like along sin ming ave & bishan st 22 at 7am as i board the bus along upp thomson, therefore i couldn't jump into any conclusion.
today i went to try taking sv 52 from bishan int. i reached bishan int around 0643. saw the 0641 depart on time, therefore i tried waiting for the 0655 trip. at 0700, the bus was nowhere seen. in the end the 0709 bus was instructed to depart at 0701 instead.
my conclusion at that point of time was that maybe the off svc bus was stuck in a jam along PIE or something. if that is the case, how great would it be if the first few buses were from AMDEP, like last time. quite disappointing.
p.s. correct me if i'm wrong anywhere.

if amdep could have a basement or another level of parking space we wont be in this.

0655 trip is the last trip that starts from Bishan which off service from slbp. It can be due to a million and one reasons why the bus still havent report to the int.
Driver depart slbp on time but needs more off service run time to Bishan
Driver wanna geng and do downroute
No driver
Bus broke down halfway to Bishan
Bus stuck in jam like 0630 in the morning? the only place with a jam at that time are the land checkpoints lor...

no driver is the most likely cause.

I also seriously doubt traffic jam would be the cause...

It's possible for first trip buses to breakdown :/ and I've personally seen that before. 2 52 buses departing depot back to back both broke down...

cannot be 3 digit
confirm it's a 2 digit rego OC
wa SBS9670H (165) pro, front seat when raining bursts out rainwater. Wiper got problem always when going fast then got like hit the glass hard.
TIB1024H's bumboat sound now fixed.
new OC seat covers now fitted on TIB818R. no wonder felt a bit weird when i boarded the bus just now. the seat covers looks kinda odd anyway...doesn't seem to fit the O405 interior..

Ok, today I saw the bus and its what SMB92U said, its SMB72C.
Quite fast for KJDEP to take about 3 to 4 days to clean the bus.

Creating new desto is even more complicated and expensive. I think they says it is better if it eds so they dun need to climb up and down. DD is needed for that service anyway..
