Hi,i've noticed something with Yahoo today. When there's no user settings with Yahoo and everything is default,Yahoo will redirect me to the Singapore Domain.Even if i enter Yahoo.com,i go to Yahoo.com.sg
There,i have the option of having Yahoo.com as the main page instead of the Singapore domain.Naturally,it get resetted back to default when i clear my cache, cookies and all since the settings are in one of 'em.
Problem is,clearing cache, cookies and all is usual for me for added security and it would be a hassle to do it repeatly.
Just stick to yahoo.com.sg
Must be following Google. Google also does the same thing if you just type in www.google.com
http://sg.rd.yahoo.com/spirit/ipredirect/*http://www.yahoo.com/
This page will bring you directly to yahoo.com
By the way, if you disable JavaScripts on Yahoo, it will stop the re-directing.
just change the sg.yahoo to us.yahoo will do.

How do i disable Javascript solely for Yahoo on Firefox?
Using NoScript addon. You can selectively disable/enable JavaScripts, Flash, Java, etc on certain sites.
