B1 got Crystal Jade (packed during lunch), Aijisen Ramen, Ya Khoon Kaya, Tacobochi, Yaki Tori, Shilin Taiwan Snacks, Old Chang Kee, Famous Amos, Sake Sushi
Level 1 got Swensens, Ding Tai Fung, Secret Receipes, Pasta Mania, KFC, Delifrance, Mos Burger, Macdonalds,
Food Court... Beef Noodles Not bad, Tepankayi (my advise: dun try).... -
There is a famous Chicken Rice Stall at the coffeeshop opposite Olio Dome & Bishan community centre. Long queue though...

The beef noodle is the only thing I'll eat at J8
Anyway, that beef noodle chain has outlets at Causeway Pt, Scotts -
J8 also has Yoshinoya and Thai Express. There is also a hawker ctr above the bus interchange - the nasi bryani stall serves very fragrant Indian curry.
That chicken rice stall that someone mentioned is at the Kim San Leng coffeeshop....$2.50 for a decent portion of chicken & free soup. I would recommend this, or Olio Dome at the CC. J8 is too luan now that it's the school holidays. -

my fav is the chunky potato (potato wedges) -
as mentioned, the chicken rice at the coffee shop opposite the community centre. Or try secret recipe in j8 1st floor.. imo their food is quite nice
